Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Lappin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Wilson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Lappin! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson tries to clinch but Lappin is having none of it. Wilson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wilson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lappin scores with a takedown into Wilson's guard. Lappin is stalling in the full guard. Wilson wants to stand up but Lappin is controlling him. Wilson is trying to control the position but Lappin postures up. Lappin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lappin is controlling him. Wilson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lappin has closed the distance and engaged Wilson in a clinch.
Wilson unloads a knee to the mid-section. Lappin drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Wilson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Lappin goes for a takedown in the clinch but Wilson prevents it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lappin wants to break the clinch but can't.
Lappin throws an elbow but it misses.
Lappin is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Josh Wilson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Lappin. Wilson works on Lappin's body with a couple of short punches. Lappin gets underhooks to prevent Wilson's takedown attempt.
Lappin takes a knee right on the jaw!
Lappin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wilson tries to clinch up and Lappin counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Lappin looks gassed! Lappin stops Wilson from getting back to his feet.
Still in half guard, Lappin seems content to control. Wilson is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are battling for position here. Wilson manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lappin trying to control the position from guard on top but Wilson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wilson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Wilson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lappin wants to stand and escape but instead Wilson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Lappin lands a decent punch to the body there. Wilson trying to control but Lappin is working from the bottom. Lappin uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Wilson tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Lappin counters by moving into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Wilson. Lappin is trying to force a seperation but Wilson has the dominant position. Wilson gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Lappin regains guard.
Lappin looking for a sweep. Not yet Lappin, not yet. Lappin is working an open guard so Wilson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Wilson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Wilson with a couple of short strikes. Wilson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wilson has control of Lappin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lappin regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Lappin is squirming around, avoiding Wilson's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Josh Wilson will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Wilson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lappin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wilson's guard. Lappin postures up.
Lappin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Lappin postures up in Wilson's guard and throws a big left but Wilson blocks it. Wilson doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Chris Lappin has got the better of the ground game so far. Lappin lands a couple of digs. Wilson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lappin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lappin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilson is trying to control the position but Lappin postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson being controlled here, momentarily. Wilson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wilson controls Lappin momentarily but Lappin frees himself. Lappin wants to control from the top but Wilson keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Wilson is looking to clinch. Wilson gets caught flat footed, as Lappin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Lappin is breathing heavily. Lappin with a flurry of punches that miss. Wilson wants to stand but Lappin is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lappin controlling from the top position. Wilson trying to keep a closed guard but Lappin is proving a slippery customer.
Lappin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wilson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lappin, into his guard. Wilson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wilson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lappin can do anything to dispel that myth. Wilson postures up.
Wilson prevents Lappin from getting back to his feet. Wilson gets to his feet - Lappin follows without any prompting. Wilson doesn't manage to clinch there - Lappin circles away.
Wilson tries to clinch and Lappin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Lappin stops Wilson from getting back to his feet.
Wilson is trying to maintain the position but Lappin is very close to passing his half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Lappin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Lappin not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Lappin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wilson is just riding it out for now. Lappin eventually gives up the hold. Lappin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Wilson is looking to escape.

Wilson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lappin is working away from the top position though. Wilson is looking for a sweep. Lappin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Wilson fails with a takedown attempt. Wilson is looking to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wilson tries to clinch up but Lappin circles away and keeps his distance. Wilson fails with the takedown and Lappin holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Lappin manages to break the clinch.
Lappin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Wilson tries for a takedown but Lappin circles away easily and Lappin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wilson won't be happy with that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Wilson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wilson is looking for a sweep. Lappin stands up and we're back to a striking position. Wilson tries to clinch and Lappin counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Wilson is lucky that one didn't land flush. Wilson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wilson closes the distance looking to clinch and Lappin counters with a shoot takedown. Wilson fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lappin prevents Wilson from getting back to his feet. Wilson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lappin content to stall in guard here. Wilson is trying to keep Lappin in close.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lappin trying to control the position from guard on top but Wilson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wilson pushes Lappin off and scrambles back to his feet.
Wilson tries to clinch but Lappin is having none of it. Lappin misses with a takedown and Wilson counters with a slapping leg kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Lappin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Lappin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
