Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Curcic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Igor Curcic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tyson Austin! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Austin takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Curcic keeps the fight on the outside. Austin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Curcic wants to control but Austin is keeping busy and won't allow it. Austin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Austin decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Austin shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Austin misses with a double jab.
Curcic really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Curcic shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Austin defends it nicely. Austin gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Curcic to score an easy takedown into full guard. Austin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Curcic is aware though and is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Curcic wants to control from the top but Austin keeps moving. Austin wants to sweep but no luck. Austin is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Curcic is stalling in the full guard. Curcic stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Austin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Curcic's half guard. Curcic is trying to stand.
Austin lands strikes from half guard. Austin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Curcic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Austin looks gassed! Austin is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Curcic has managed to free his arm - good work. Austin not landing any meaningful shots this time. Austin is keen to just control but Curcic is a slippery customer. Curcic trying to hold on to Austin's head to control him but Austin postures up.
Austin wants to take a breather but Curcic is having none of it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Curcic instigates a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Curcic is trying to trip Austin. He has hold of a leg but Austin is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Curcic persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Curcic passes into half guard. Austin trying to control from the bottom.
Curcic tries to stand but can't do so whilst Austin controls his leg. Curcic trying to mount his opponent but Austin defends it. Austin keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Austin pushes Curcic off and gets back to his feet. Austin lands with a nice combination. Curcic backs away looking to recover. Curcic scores a takedown into full mount! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Curcic looking to control but Austin is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Igor Curcic will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Curcic fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Austin, pushing him back against the cage. Curcic wants a takedown but no success here.

Austin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Curcic just stands there and leans against the cage. Curcic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Austin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Austin performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Austin not landing any meaningful shots this time. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Austin wants to get back to his feet.
Tyson Austin has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Curcic makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Curcic. Austin controls from within his opponent's guard. Austin stands up and waves to Curcic to follow him. Austin misses with a takedown attempt and Curcic counters with a body kick. Curcic shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Austin's guard. Curcic will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Curcic trying to control but Austin is working from the bottom. Austin is trying to control the position but Curcic postures up. Curcic has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Curcic is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Austin is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Austin looking to control but Curcic passes into half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Curcic tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Austin clinches with his opponent.
Curcic manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Austin walks away with a smile on his face. Curcic gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Curcic. That's going to take a lot out of him. Austin looks for a takedown but Curcic sprawls well. Austin tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Curcic counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Austin! Curcic moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Austin has worked his arm free - good work by Austin!
Curcic cracks Austin with a big right hand but Austin just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

and Curcic moves into the clinch. Curcic has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Austin clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Curcic wants to control but Austin manages to buck him off and is now in Curcic's guard! Nice work there by Austin! Austin trying to control the position from guard on top but Curcic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Austin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Curcic works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Curcic keeping moving, preventing Austin from controlling successfully. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Curcic had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Austin defends it easily. Austin trying to control but Curcic is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Austin's corner is telling him to maintain position. Austin stands up from Curcic's guard - Austin perhaps looking for a knockout. Curcic fails to land the takedown. Austin throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Curcic is looking to clinch but Austin is avoiding it.
Austin shoots and misses and Curcic counters with a nice low kick that buckles Austin's knee momentarily. Curcic scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Austin is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Austin tries to get to full guard but Curcic has control of the leg. Austin kicks Curcic off and gets back to his feet. Austin closes the distance looking to clinch and Curcic counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Curcic. Curcic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Some wild striking there from Austin.
Austin throws a sloppy head kick and Curcic counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Austin's guard now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Austin seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Curcic postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Curcic trying to control but Austin is working from the bottom. Curcic stops Austin from standing up. Curcic stands up from guard. Let's bang! Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Austin!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Austin wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Austin tries to pull guard but Curcic holds him up against the cage and eventually Austin drops back down to his feet.
Curcic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Curcic will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Austin closes the distance but Curcic moves to the side and Curcic counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Curcic. Curcic stalling.
Curcic changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Austin fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Curcic. That's going to take a lot out of him. Austin wants to clinch but Curcic slips to the side and Curcic counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Austin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Curcic can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Curcic pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Austin is keeping the position for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Igor Curcic showed his dominance in that final round. Well Curcic has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
