Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Barraclough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernard Blackstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barraclough comes into the arena with MGMT - Electric Feel blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 3, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Barraclough!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Bernard Blackstone!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blackstone lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Blackstone throws a sloppy head kick and Barraclough moves out of range easily.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mike Barraclough will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Barraclough.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Barraclough, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
