Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alexander Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Go Yamamoto!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Yamamoto takes the fight into the clinch.

Jones manages to break the clinch.

Jones is looking to break free of the clinch but Yamamoto has double underhooks.
Yamamoto tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Jones avoids it.
Yamamoto lands a good knee to the midsection. Jones won't want to take too many of those.

Jones is trying to break the clinch but Yamamoto has him pressed against the cage.
Yamamoto makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Jones wants to break free but Yamamoto has control.
Yamamoto lands a hook that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
Jones wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Yamamoto has him pressed against the cage.

Jones jumps guard and drags Yamamoto to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Yamamoto has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Jones to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Yamamoto is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Jones pulls down on the head and he's put Yamamoto to sleep! This one is all over!
