Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Super Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunn comes to the cage accompanied by "God's Gonna Cut You Down" by Johnny Cash. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Gunn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Super Man! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Man has managed to clinch.
Gunn throws a knee to the head but misses.
Gunn tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Gunn throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Man blocks it with crossed arms. Man jumps guard.
Man wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Man is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gunn defends well. Man is trying to keep Gunn in close.
Man looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Man working for a triangle but Gunn defends it easily.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Man holds on and takes a little breather.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man is trying to keep Gunn in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gunn preventing the sweep. Man working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Gunn wants to stand but Man is controlling his posture from full guard. Gunn controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Man seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Despite being in the dominant position, Super Man just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Man walks into a stiff left hand from Gunn.
It looks like Super Man has been cut. Gunn throws a head kick but Man moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man rushes Gunn and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A knee to the head by Gunn.
Gunn throws a knee to the head but misses.
Man tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gunn just stands there and leans against the cage. Gunn landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Man drags the fight down to the ground.
Man controls Gunn momentarily but Gunn frees himself. Man had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gunn defends it easily. Gunn stopping the sweep attempt from Man. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gunn postures up.
Gunn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Man is controlling Gunn's posture. Man looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gunn is one step ahead there. Man looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Man is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Super Man will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Super Man's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Man is defended easily by Gunn. Man circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Gunn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Man circles away quickly and effectively. Gunn tries to close the distance and clinch but Man swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Man changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gunn tries to avoid it but Man manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gunn to the ground. Gunn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Super Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Man closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gunn circles away. Tommy Gunn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Super Man. Gunn keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Gunn cracks Man with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gunn has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Man to stand back up!
Man is rocked! Gunn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gunn sends Man crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Gunn is motioning to the referee to let Man up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Man is still on wobbly legs! Can Gunn finish him? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gunn displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Man. Gunn throws a pinpoint strike between Man's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Man crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Gunn scores a great knockout victory!
