Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adam Kemp! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jesse James! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kemp waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract James. A nice leg kick lands there from James. Kemp swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kemp lands with a cross.
It looks like Jesse James has been cut. James slips a straight right by Kemp. A bone on bone clash there as Kemp blocks the leg kick.
Kemp moves into the clinch. Kemp takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Adam Kemp has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! James tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Kemp blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as James takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Kemp pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. James staying out of range there. James throws out a leg kick but Kemp moves out of range and James only half commits. James lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kemp's sensitive parts. James fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kemp manages to avoid it. James shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kemp sprawls well. Kemp wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. James gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from James. James moves out of range as Kemp strikes. James takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Kemp checks a leg kick. James pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kemp is out of range and James settles back down. James looks to land a right hand but Kemp moved out of range. Kemp moves out of range as James throws a body kick.
Kemp fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches James on the side of the head. Kemp lands an overhand right. James fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Adam Kemp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesse James. James looks gassed! James on the wrong end of a nice hook. A shot to de liver by Kemp. Beautiful body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kemp moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. A shot to de liver by Kemp. Beautiful body shot. James takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kemp dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Adam Kemp is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A punch lands to the side of James 's head but he takes it in his stride.
That has opened up Jesse James's cut even more. Kemp scores with a nice head shot. Kemp lands with a straight right. James didn't see that one coming. Kemp feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends James sprawling to the canvas! James rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kemp finish him?!
James is rocked!
The cut above Jesse James's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Kemp drops James with a huge uppercut! James drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Kemp is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adam Kemp! Adam Kemp retains his heavyweight title!
