Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wolfgang Schneiderhan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bull Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dog has chosen Jukebox Hero as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schneiderhan fails with the takedown. Schneiderhan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dog but Dog pushes him off and we're back to square one. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Schneiderhan. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wolfgang Schneiderhan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Schneiderhan moves in looking to clinch but Dog pushes him off. Schneiderhan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Schneiderhan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dog shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dog showed some decent athleticism there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dog wants to advance to full mount but Schneiderhan doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Dog throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dog throws a strike but Schneiderhan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Dog is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Dog keeping moving, preventing Schneiderhan from controlling successfully. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dog can do anything to dispel that myth. Dog wants to sweep but no luck. Dog throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dog circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Schneiderhan thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Dog if he has to take too many more of those.
Schneiderhan lands with a kick to the temple. Dog shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Bull Dog has been cut. Dog tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Schneiderhan with a poor takedown and Dog counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Schneiderhan is looking to improve his position.
Ground and pound from Dog. Schneiderhan tries to kick Dog off but Dog keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Schneiderhan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dog is working away from the top position though. Schneiderhan is breathing heavily. Dog controlling the pace. Schneiderhan has hold of Dog's hands but Dog slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schneiderhan won't allow Dog to pass to mount. Dog thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Schneiderhan's head. Dog lands with a punch from half guard. Dog is tying to control. Schneiderhan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Schneiderhan wants to get back to full guard. Well, if Dog is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Schneiderhan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Schneiderhan misses with a takedown attempt and Dog counters with a single leg into guard. Schneiderhan didn't expect that. Dog stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Schneiderhan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Schneiderhan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schneiderhan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dog's guard. Dog really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Schneiderhan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dog wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dog is looking to sweep but instead, Schneiderhan has passed into half guard.
Dog moves into full guard.
Dog tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dog is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dog wants to get back to his feet but Schneiderhan is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Dog looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bull Dog dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bull Dog's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Dog bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Schneiderhan's head backwards. Schneiderhan throws a body kick that misses. Schneiderhan with a poor takedown and Dog counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Schneiderhan! Dog breaks from Schneiderhan's wrist control and lands an elbow. Dog fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Dog controlling from mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dog cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dog landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Dog trying to control the action but Schneiderhan is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bull Dog showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Bull Dog's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Schneiderhan fails with the takedown and Dog counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Dog is nestled in close to Schneiderhan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Dog seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Dog looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Schneiderhan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Dog thows a huge punch but Schneiderhan dodges it nicely.
Schneiderhan is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Dog is tapping! Great win for Schneiderhan!
