Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shin Kicker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ali Hatchet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hatchet has chosen Eminem - Till i collapse as his entrance music. Shin Kicker could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ali Hatchet's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Shin Kicker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ali Hatchet!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kicker throws a head kick but Hatchet moves out of range.
Kicker misses with an uppercut.
Kicker lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kicker displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hatchet.
Hatchet shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kicker pinned against the cage. Kicker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hatchet tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kicker thumps Hatchet with a low kick.
Hatchet takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Hatchet keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Kicker lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hatchet's sensitive parts.
Kicker slaps away a takedown attempt from Hatchet, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Shin Kicker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ali Hatchet.

Kicker fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hatchet takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kicker avoids the body shot from Hatchet.
Kicker is looking to clinch but Hatchet is avoiding it.
Kicker connects with a solid leg kick.

Kicker doesn't manage to clinch there - Hatchet circles away.

Kicker gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kicker wants to stand and escape but Hatchet is having none of it.
Kicker is controlling Hatchet's posture.
Kicker wants to sweep but no luck.

Hatchet drops back looking for a leg! Kicker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kicker manages to kick Hatchet off! Hatchet jumps back into Kicker's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kicker is looking to stand up but Hatchet isn't so interested in that idea.
Hatchet stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kicker swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hatchet sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kicker's guard.

Hatchet is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shin Kicker dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


A solid leg kick lands there for Kicker.
Kicker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kicker wants it to stay on the feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kicker thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hatchet if he has to take too many more of those.
Hatchet avoids the head kick by Kicker.

Hatchet fails to land with a series of punches.
Kicker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hatchet.
Hatchet takes a swing at Kicker's ribcage but misses.
Hatchet is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kicker sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Kicker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shin Kicker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kicker plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!


It looks like Ali Hatchet has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kicker tries to clinch but Hatchet is having none of it.
Hatchet on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kicker. Kicker obviously looking to wear him down.
Hatchet takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hatchet scores with a one two! Kicker had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.


It looks like Shin Kicker has been cut.
Kicker fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hatchet throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kicker's waist but Kicker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hatchet off to one side.
Shin Kicker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ali Hatchet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kicker wants to clinch.
Ali Hatchet is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kicker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hatchet chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kicker can pounce on him.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kicker throws a quick inside leg kick.
Hatchet on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kicker. Kicker obviously looking to wear him down.
Kicker connects with a solid leg kick.
Hatchet's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
A head kick misses from Kicker.
Kicker is looking to slow Hatchet down with leg kicks.
Kicker thumps Hatchet with a low kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shin Kicker dominated that second round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Hatchet fails to land the takedown.
Nice defenses there by Hatchet.

Kicker feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hatchet's calf.
Kicker throws a nice outside leg kick.

Kicker is looking to clinch but Hatchet is avoiding it.
Hatchet shoots in for a takedown but Kicker shows good takedown defense.
Kicker scores with a leg kick.
Kicker lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kicker lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Hatchet takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Good leg kick by Kicker there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Kicker wants to clinch up but Hatchet keeps it at a distance.
Hatchet fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Shin Kicker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ali Hatchet.
Kicker with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Good exchange - Hatchet coming out on top.
Hatchet looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kicker is fending him off so far but Hatchet persists. Nope, Kicker circles away and we're back to standing.

Kicker is looking to slow Hatchet down with leg kicks.
Hatchet shoots for a double leg takedown but Kicker sprawls well. He's pushed Hatchet's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kicker.
Kicker turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kicker wants to clinch.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kicker.
Ali Hatchet has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Shin Kicker is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hatchet throws a right hand that Kicker ducks under and follows up with a left that Kicker also avoids with ease.
Hatchet misses with the combination.
Both fighters circling a little - Kicker finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

And that's the end of the fight!
Shin Kicker showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kicker, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
