Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William McDonough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying McDonough's choice of entrance music: The Beast by Tech N9ne. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gunner Grant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, William McDonough! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McDonough looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Grant! Grant is trying to escape the mount.
McDonough goes for an armbar but Grant turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Grant. McDonough looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Grant controls from within his opponent's guard. McDonough wants to sweep here but Grant controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grant tries to stand but McDonough is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Grant gets to his feet - McDonough follows without any prompting. Grant misses with a head kick.
McDonough avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Grant ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McDonough moves away. Grant closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming McDonough to the mat! McDonough manages to get full guard. Grant would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. McDonough wants to sweep here but Grant controlling him for the moment. Grant has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McDonough is trying to control the position but Grant postures up. McDonough throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
McDonough tries to land a sweep but no joy. Grant wants to stand but McDonough has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Grant accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Grant would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. McDonough manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Grant is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McDonough looking to control but Grant is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gunner Grant will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
McDonough stalks Grant and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Grant's face. Grant staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Gunner Grant has been cut. Grant will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Grant misses with a double jab.
Grant lands a really nice looking cross but McDonough seems unphased.
McDonough scores with a hook to the body. Grant takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. McDonough has his takedown stuffed and Grant counters with a nice body shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Grant throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A looping hook to the body misses from Grant. McDonough does a little dance to reset his feet. McDonough catches Grant with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! McDonough scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. McDonough looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. McDonough shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than McDonough was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Grant prevents McDonough from taking his back. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. McDonough trying to control but Grant is having none of it. McDonough swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
