Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Demper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beni Nikaido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beni Nikaido told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikaido will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Demper doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Nikaido counters with a stiff right hand.

Nikaido throws a front kick aimed at Demper's knee but Demper avoids it well.

Demper shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nikaido's guard.

Nikaido is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Demper is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Demper has escaped and now he's on top!
