Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wild darts in and clinches Starikov up against the cage.
Wild tries to pull guard but Starikov won't allow it.
Wild has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Starikov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Starikov pulls guard effortlessly.
Wild trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Starikov is looking for a triangle but Wild pushes his legs off easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Wild postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Starikov looks a forlorn figure.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jack Wild just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Wild ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Wild no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

and Wild counters with a single leg into guard. Starikov didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wild drops back looking for a leg! Starikov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Starikov manages to kick Wild off! Wild jumps back into Starikov's guard.
Starikov controls Wild momentarily but Wild frees himself.

Wild slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Starikov seems keen to control Wild's posture.
Wild is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Wild thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Starikov is trying to control the position but Wild postures up.

Wild is keen to just control but Starikov is a slippery customer.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Starikov won't allow Wild to pass to mount.
Starikov wants to get back to his feet.

Wild is taking a breather. Starikov says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Wild looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Wild not doing much here.
Wild wants to pass to mount but Starikov is defending the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Starikov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wild is working away from the top position though.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Starikov is trying to stand up here but Wild is controlling him well.
Wild is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Starikov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wild.
Starikov is not content to let Wild control the position.

Jack Wild showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Wild tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Starikov just stands there and leans against the cage.
Starikov is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wild pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Starikov postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wild is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Starikov, into his guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Wild looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Wild gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Wild feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Wild is pushing down on Starikov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Starikov is fighting to maintain full guard but Wild has managed to sneak the leg through.

Let's hope that Wild has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Jack Wild comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Wild has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
