Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bu Ca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Peterwhacker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ca comes to the cage accompanied by Hey Ya. Peterwhacker has chosen Bad to the Bone by George Thorogood as his entrance music. Michael Peterwhacker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peterwhacker fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ca, pushing him back against the cage.
Peterwhacker stops a takedown attempt from Ca.
Peterwhacker gets underhooks to prevent Ca's takedown attempt.
Peterwhacker prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bu Ca. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Peterwhacker is pressed up against the cage. Ca has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Peterwhacker down to the mat. Peterwhacker avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Ca looks for a takedown but Peterwhacker sprawls well.

Peterwhacker decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Ca is breathing heavily.

Peterwhacker lands a high kick to the side of Ca's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Peterwhacker dives into guard, looking to finish.

Ca has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Peterwhacker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Peterwhacker wants to stand but Ca has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Ca seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Peterwhacker does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Peterwhacker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ca is controlling him.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Peterwhacker lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Peterwhacker gets through Ca's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Ca is fighting off a takedown attempt but Peterwhacker is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Ca to the mat. Ca regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Ca is working an open guard so Peterwhacker takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Peterwhacker throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ca's head.

Ca shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Peterwhacker but Peterwhacker pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Peterwhacker slaps away a takedown attempt from Ca, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ca takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Ca throws a big shot that misses.

That's time! Ca's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Peterwhacker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ca throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ca blocks a head kick by Peterwhacker.
Ca throws the left hand but Peterwhacker avoids the punch easily.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Peterwhacker. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Ca throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Peterwhacker's waist but Peterwhacker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ca off to one side.

Bu Ca's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Peterwhacker looks to land a combination. Ca sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Jeez, Bu Ca's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Peterwhacker throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Ca.
Peterwhacker tries to clinch but Ca moves out of range.
Peterwhacker has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Peterwhacker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ca changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Peterwhacker tries to avoid it but Ca manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Peterwhacker to the ground. Peterwhacker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
