Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jukka Hilden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Edman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hilden comes to the cage accompanied by Sandstorm. Edman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Knockout kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jukka Hilden has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jukka Hilden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Edman! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hilden shoots in and bounces Edman off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Edman looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Hilden slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hilden's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Hilden postures up in Edman's guard and throws a big left but Edman blocks it. Hilden wants to control from the top but Edman keeps moving. Hilden stays in close to Edman's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hilden scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Hilden in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hilden working some strikes from top position. Hilden throwing strikes but missing. Hilden advances position into side control! Edman on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Check out the look on Hilden's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Hilden working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hilden is looking to take a break and control but Edman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hilden has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hilden has hold of Edman's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Edman tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Hilden cranks the arm and Edman screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Edman, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
