Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Tornado misses with the combination.
Hitman avoids the head kick by The Tornado.
The Tornado will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Hitman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has The Tornado pinned against the cage. The Tornado gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The Tornado throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and The Tornado counters with a single leg into guard. Hitman didn't expect that.

Hitman is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Hitman looking for a guillotine here but The Tornado defends easily.
Hitman is breathing heavily.
The Tornado trying to control the position from guard on top but Hitman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Hitman is trying to keep The Tornado in close.
The Tornado slips nicely into half guard.
Hitman is trying to get back to full guard.
The Tornado throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The Tornado prevents Hitman from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Tornado wants to stand up but Hitman has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The Tornado really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hitman . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The Tornado trying to control the action but Hitman is working from the bottom.
Hitman wants to control but The Tornado is keeping busy.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The Tornado closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hitman takes a knee right on the jaw!
Hitman jumps guard but The Tornado stands there with Hitman around his waist. Hitman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The Tornado lands with a short punch from the clinch.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
A right hook to the body lands for The Tornado.
The Tornado with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
The Tornado lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
The Tornado tries to break free but Hitman pushes him back against the cage.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. The Tornado obliges.

The Tornado pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hitman sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

The Tornado drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Hitman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but The Tornado can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hitman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. The Tornado manages to get himself to full guard.
Hitman wants to control from the top but The Tornado keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jamie The Tornado dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



The Tornado pushes Hitman up against the cage in a clinch.
The Tornado wants to break free but Hitman has control.
The Tornado wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
The Tornado is trying to break the clinch but Hitman is controlling him.
Hitman has The Tornado pressed against the cage, preventing The Tornado from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
The Tornado can't break the clinch.
The Tornado utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.

The Tornado decides to pull guard.
The Tornado looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hitman is one step ahead there.
Hitman passes The Tornado's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hitman uses his free foot to push down on The Tornado's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for The Tornado.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hitman has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! The Tornado is forced to tap!
