Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Darius Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enzo Kajiya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellis's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Deuces. Darius Ellis has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Enzo Kajiya!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ellis shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Ellis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ellis has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kajiya uses from the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ellis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kajiya is just riding it out for now. Ellis eventually gives up the hold.

Ellis is looking to take a break and control but Kajiya is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kajiya is looking to control Ellis's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kajiya avoid being mounted?

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Ellis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ellis is pressed up against the cage. Kajiya has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ellis down to the mat. Ellis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

A close second round but Enzo Kajiya will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Ellis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kajiya is looking for a sweep.
Kajiya is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
