The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mt closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hopkins circles away.
Hopkins shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mt napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Hopkins grinds an elbow into Mt's temple.
Mt tries to buck Hopkins off but Hopkins is having none of it.
Mt taking punishment in the form of punches.
It looks like Ja Mt has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
