Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Knox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hagas Duganson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hagas Duganson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Knox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hagas Duganson! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knox throws an overhand right that lands on Duganson's shoulder, as Duganson tries to avoid the shot. Duganson tries for a takedown but Knox sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Duganson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Duganson lands in his opponent's guard. Duganson wants to control from the top but Knox keeps moving. Duganson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Knox being controlled here, momentarily. Duganson preventing the sweep. Knox throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Duganson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Knox wants to sweep but no luck. Knox trying to strike off his back.
Duganson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Knox has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Duganson has managed to get both his arms back between Knox's legs - danger averted.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duganson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Let's hope that Duganson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Knox looking to hit a scissor sweep but Duganson is one step ahead there. Knox trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Duganson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Knox keeping moving, preventing Duganson from controlling successfully. Knox lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Duganson! Duganson really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knox throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Duganson really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Knox moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Duganson has worked his arm free - good work by Duganson!
Knox throws an elbow but Duganson slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duganson tries to control but Knox manages to take his back. Knox throwing sloppy strikes. Duganson finds himself mounted whilst avoiding strikes. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Knox cracks Duganson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
It looks like Hagas Duganson has been cut. Knox pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That has opened up Hagas Duganson's cut even more.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hagas Duganson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
