The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorbrand dives in and grabs Turmoil's left leg, looking for a takedown. Turmoil pushes down on Thorbrand's head and hops out.
Norbert Thorbrand seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turmoil connects with a jab.
Thorbrand gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Turmoil.
It looks like Norbert Thorbrand has been cut.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Thorbrand has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Turmoil's face.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Thorbrand feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Thorbrand is in close to Turmoil's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Thorbrand postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Turmoil has momentary wrist control but Thorbrand slips an elbow through the middle.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Thorbrand accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Turmoil pushes Thorbrand off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Thorbrand shoots for a takedown but Turmoil saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Turmoil moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Turmoil tests Thorbrand's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Turmoil lands a left and a right that send Thorbrand crashing to the mat, dazed. Turmoil thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

A decent looking cross lands there for Turmoil.
Turmoil thuds his right hand into Thorbrand's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Thorbrand checks a leg kick nicely.
Turmoil thows a left - swing and a miss!
Turmoil bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Thorbrand's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thorbrand walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Turmoil stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Oh Thorbrand is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Turmoil swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thorbrand seems to have got his legs back now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Turmoil lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Thorbrand with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Turmoil to score with a decent uppercut.
Turmoil is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Thorbrand.
Thorbrand gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Turmoil darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Turmoil connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Thorbrand tumbling to the canvas! Turmoil pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Thorbrand was done - good stoppage!
