Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Drake Barry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barry comes to the ring accompanied by 3 AM. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Drake Barry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Royce Gracie! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Barry. Gracie rushes Barry and presses him up against the ropes. Gracie goes for a takedown attempt but Barry pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Barry scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Barry missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Gracie trying to control from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gracie throws a sloppy head kick and Barry moves out of range easily. Barry shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barry with the ground and pound from mount. Barry looking to finish Gracie with some ground and pound. This is bad for Gracie! Gracie is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Gracie can't escape the position.
Gracie in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Gracie is desperately trying to improve his position but Barry has a good base and remains in mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Barry cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Gracie tries to hold on but Barry pushes him away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Barry in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drake Barry dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Barry bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Drake Barry overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Barry grinds an elbow into Gracie's temple. Gracie is looking to regain half guard here but Barry keeps moving and retains side control. Barry working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Gracie's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Barry is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gracie has escaped the position, nice work there. The ground and pound from Barry seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Gracie parries the strikes from Barry easily there. Barry is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Gracie to escape.
Gracie struggling a bit here. Gracie pushes Barry away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Barry gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Barry looking to control but instead Gracie has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Gracie wants to control but Barry is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Barry scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Gracie wants to control but Barry postures up. Barry throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Gracie regains half guard. Barry lands with a punch from half guard. Gracie trying to control but Barry postures up.
Barry seems to be looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Barry tries to reverse the position but Gracie maintains control. Gracie trying to control but he's not successful this time. Poor strikes thrown by Gracie there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Barry checks the leg kick. Gracie looks to throw the jab but Barry is out of range. Gracie decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Gracie thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Barry's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barry tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg. Gracie is trying to control the action in half guard but Barry is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Gracie tries to stand but can't do so whilst Barry controls his leg. Barry tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control. Barry is trying to control but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie throws a hook but Barry blocks it. Gracie fails with the takedown and Barry counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gracie's guard now. Barry trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Gracie looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Barry is defending well. Gracie quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Barry has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gracie celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
