Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hoss Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jomu Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Great One. Hoss Williams could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jomu Allen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hoss Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jomu Allen!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Allen drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Allen wants to control but Williams is keeping him busy.
Williams tries to bench press Allen off him but Allen keeps the position.

Allen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Williams, who protects the arm well.

Allen tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Allen throws a strike aimed at the side of Williams's head but Williams avoids it well.
Allen lands a few punches from side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Allen connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Williams some visible discomfort.

and Allen counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Allen tries a knee to the head but Williams blocks it.
Williams avoids a wild elbow strike from Allen.

Williams breaks the clinch.
Williams tries to close the distance and clinch up but Allen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Williams fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Allen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

so Allen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Williams is trying to control Allen's posture but Allen avoids it.
Williams is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Allen is looking to take a break and control but Williams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Williams is trying to escape the position but Allen is controlling the position.
Allen is looking to take a break and control but Williams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Allen tries to advance to mount but can't.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Williams gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Allen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Allen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Williams fails in his attempt to clinch.

Allen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Williams was covering up waiting for the punch and Allen finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Still in half guard, Allen seems content to control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Williams is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Allen scores with a couple of nice shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Allen passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Williams!
Williams is trying to stand.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Allen has control of Williams's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Williams regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Allen connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Allen jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Williams manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Williams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Allen on the ground.

Allen stands up.

Williams throws a right and a left that both miss.
Allen scores with a decent looking hook.
Allen shoots in for a double leg but Williams sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Williams throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Williams fails with the takedown

and Allen counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Williams wants to get back to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Allen stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Allen avoids the head kick by Williams.

Allen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Williams tries to pull guard but Allen won't allow it.
Allen is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Williams gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Williams stalling the fight.
Allen tries to circle away but Williams has him pinned against the cage.

Allen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Williams scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jomu Allen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Allen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Williams really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Allen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Williams is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Allen defends well.
Allen sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Allen decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Williams, up you get!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Allen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Williams doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Allen passes Williams's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Williams trying to hold on to Allen's head to control him but Allen postures up.
Allen is trying to control. Williams wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Allen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Williams flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Allen scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Allen frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
A nice elbow there by Allen.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Williams is in all sorts of trouble here.
Williams is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Allen lands a big elbow.
Allen controlling from mount.
Jomu Allen has got the better of the ground game so far.
Williams working to try and regain half guard.
Williams slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Allen passes into side control, despite Williams's attempt to control the position.
Allen staying calm.

Allen is trying to get an arm triangle but Williams is defending well.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jomu Allen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Allen winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
