Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Totoy Bato!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Don Dada!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dada drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Dada looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Bato is avoiding damage well.
Dada postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Dada is trying to get an arm triangle but Bato is defending well.
Bato managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Dada.
Bato is trying to work for a sweep but Dada has mounted him!
Bato might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Dada throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Bato because Dada loaded up on that one.
Bato manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Dada not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Dada throwing shots but Bato is blocking nicely.
Dada has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Dada uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Dada is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bato gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dada to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bato controls Dada momentarily but Dada frees himself.

Dada throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bato was covering up waiting for the punch and Dada finishes the takedown easily into guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Dada shoots in and bounces Bato off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bato is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Bato looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dada is one step ahead there.

Dada looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bato is looking for a sweep. Dada is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Dada thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Dada is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Bato can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Don Dada showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Dada is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bato is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bato is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Dada is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bato knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Dada tries to score with some ground and pound. Bato controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well Dada has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
