Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, bushido guardfight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David The King! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! guardfight throws out a token jab with nothing on it. guardfight leaves The King with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. guardfight is looking to land body kicks. The King throws a combination. guardfight tries to block but a couple of punches get through. guardfight scores a takedown into full mount! guardfight with a couple of short strikes. guardfight misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The King avoids a series of strikes thrown by guardfight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. guardfight sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

The King is squirming around, avoiding guardfight's attempts to control the action. The King trying desperately to get to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The King is refusing to be controlled, as guardfight sits in half guard. guardfight missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. guardfight closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. guardfight is putting a hurting on The King here, landing some big shots from side control. Sloppy strikes there by guardfight. guardfight prevents The King from escaping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. guardfight trying to control the position but The King is working away. guardfight is really struggling to control The King but he's trying to hold on to the position. guardfight is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because The King is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

He's got his arms around The King's waist but The King gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing guardfight off to one side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The King goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

The King shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has guardfight pinned against the cage. guardfight gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. The King is looking to clinch but guardfight is avoiding it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The King shoots for a takedown but guardfight saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. guardfight wants to clinch. The King circles away from the clinch attempt.
guardfight displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from The King. bushido guardfight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David The King. guardfight tries to close the distance and clinch up but The King swats him away and circles back towards the center. David The King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The King blocks a jab. guardfight closes the distance but The King moves to the side and The King counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by The King.

The King trying to control the position from guard on top but guardfight is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. guardfight is pulling down on The King's head to control his posture. The King postures up.

The King tries for a takedown but guardfight circles away easily and guardfight decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in The King's guard. The King keeping full guard, as guardfight tries to pass. guardfight trying to control but The King is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! David The King comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think The King has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
