Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terry Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Freeman! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson misses with a head kick.
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Both fighters circling a little - Jackson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Jackson closes the distance and clinches up with Freeman, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes Freeman against the cage but Freeman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Freeman closes the distance and pushes Jackson back into the cage. Jackson wants to stall.

Good work by Jackson as he checks the leg kick. Terry Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Freeman blocks a head kick by Jackson.
Freeman tries to clinch but Jackson is having none of it. Jackson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jackson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Freeman to score an easy takedown into full guard. Freeman is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Freeman manages to pass to side control. Freeman is trying to control the action in half guard but Jackson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Freeman slows the pace down in half guard. Jackson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Freeman is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jackson pushes Freeman off looking to stand but Freeman dives back in and keeps control.
Freeman wants to pass the guard but Jackson is defending well. Freeman is looking to take a break and control but Jackson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Freeman wants to stand up but Jackson is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Freeman is controlling the pace.
Jackson makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Jackson is breathing heavily. Jackson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Freeman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Freeman lands a nice shot to the head. Freeman sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Freeman wants to control the pace but Jackson is squirming around nicely. Jackson wants to control but Freeman is having none of it. Freeman lands a nice shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Despite being in the dominant position, Josh Freeman just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Some wild striking there from Freeman.
Freeman misses with the body kick and Jackson counters with a head kick. Jackson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Freeman's sensitive parts. Freeman misses with a takedown attempt - Jackson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Freeman is breathing heavily. Freeman feints and as Jackson raises his hands in defense, Freeman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Freeman won't allow Jackson to get back to his feet. Freeman decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Jackson lands a head kick. Freeman smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Jackson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Freeman, pushing him back against the cage. Jackson letting Freeman take a breather here. Good body shot from Freeman.

Terry Jackson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Freeman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Freeman wanted to stand there but Jackson had control of the position. Freeman trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom.

Freeman trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Freeman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Freeman stops Jackson from standing up. Freeman trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom. Freeman gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Freeman takes a kick to the side of the head. Jackson gets caught flat footed, as Freeman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Jackson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Freeman trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Freeman might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jackson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Jackson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Freeman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Freeman stays in close to Jackson's body and controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Freeman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Freeman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Josh Freeman has got the better of the ground game so far. Freeman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Jackson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Freeman gets the takedown into side control. Jackson wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Freeman has knee on belly and moves into mount. Freeman jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Jackson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Jackson and Freeman has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Freeman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Jackson wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

And that's the end of the fight! Josh Freeman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Freeman winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
