Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thai Shu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shu comes to the cage accompanied by We International. Jackson Jackson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Thai Shu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jackson Jackson! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson leaves Shu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jackson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Shu. Jackson lands a slapping body shot.
Jackson looks to land a combination but Shu avoids it well. Shu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackson but Jackson pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thai Shu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jackson thuds his right hand into Shu's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Thai Shu has been cut. Shu takes one to the chin there. Shu bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Shu has just dragged him back down to the mat. Jackson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jackson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Shu works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Shu misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Shu walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Jackson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Shu. Shu shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jackson defends it nicely. Shu is breathing heavily. Jackson lands a jab to Shu's midsection.
That's two minutes gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Shu. Jackson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Shu fails with the takedown. Jackson moves into the clinch. Jackson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Shu throws a head kick but Jackson moves out of range.

Jackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shu tries to clinch but Jackson moves away letting Jackson counter with a right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jackson throws a nice inside leg kick. Jackson moves into the clinch. Jackson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jackson takes the fight into the clinch. Jackson lands a nice uppercut.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Shu tries for a takedown. No joy.

Jackson throws a quick inside leg kick. Shu takes a shot right to the bread basket. Thai Shu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson connects with a solid leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice straight punches there by Jackson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jackson. Jackson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Jackson lands with a straight right. Shu didn't see that one coming. Jackson scores with a shot to the body.
Jackson drops Shu with a beautiful combination! Shu stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jackson is looking for the KO!
Shu is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Shu crumples to the floor! Jackson milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
