These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
House goes for a takedown in the clinch but Silva prevents it.

House has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Silva is trying to keep an underhook but House manages to get the takedown into half guard.
House throwing shots but Silva is blocking nicely.
Silva is concentrating on defense, preventing House from advancing position.
Silva is trying to stand back up but House is controlling him
House passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Silva!
Silva is trying to stand up.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with House. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee warns Silva that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

It looks like Arnulfo Silva has been cut.
Silva wants to control but House is having none of it.
Silva is trying to escape the mount.
Silva tries to hold on but House postures up.
House with shots to the head and body - Silva looks very uncomfortable down there.

That has opened up Arnulfo Silva's cut even more.

Silva is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

House lands with some strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
House is landing with some decent strikes but Silva is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
A big strike lands for House! That's really hurt Silva and he's turned his back - House keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! House Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
