Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dontavious Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Snake! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snake throws a hook but Murphy avoids it easily. Murphy throws a series of punches but Snake avoids them all with ease. Murphy leaves Snake with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A slow jab from Murphy misses its intended target. Murphy lands a nice shot to the body.
Murphy misses with a few strikes there.
Murphy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Murphy cracks the inside of Snake's front leg. Snake throws a jab but it's blocked by Murphy. Murphy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Snake.
Murphy takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Snake misses with an uppercut. Murphy feints and then cracks Snake's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Snake down. Murphy slips under a jab. Snake misses with a takedown attempt - Murphy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Murphy throws a head kick but Snake moves out of range.

Snake shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Murphy's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Murphy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Snake is one step ahead there. Murphy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Snake on the ground. Snake wants to stand but Murphy has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Snake looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Snake passes easily into side control. Nice work. Murphy is pushing Snake's head away, looking to escape. Snake manages to hold on to the position though. Snake tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Snake decides to take the fight back to the feet. A shot to de liver by Snake. Beautiful body shot. Murphy punishes Snake's body with a nice straight punch. Murphy throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Snake shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Snake was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Poor strikes thrown by Snake there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Murphy in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Murphy is trying desperately to improve position. Snake looking to ground and pound but Murphy is blocking nicely. Murphy on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Murphy tries to get out of the position. Snake misses with a head shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Murphy is trying to stand up. Murphy tries to hold on but Snake postures up. Snake unloading with bombs! Murphy tries to hold on but Snake postures up. Snake landing strikes from the mount and Murphy is in trouble! Snake looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Snake can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Murphy is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snake is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Murphy to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Murphy shrugs it off. Murphy is desperately trying to improve his position but Snake has a good base and remains in mount. Murphy wants to hold on but Snake pushes him away.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Snake putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Snake sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Snake trying to control but he's not successful this time. Snake lands a big shot there that rocks Murphy but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Snake throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Murphy because Snake loaded up on that one. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Murphy tries to hold on but Snake pushes him away. Snake is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Murphy can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Snake is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Murphy can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Snake gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Snake loads up on a big right hand but Murphy slips the punch. Snake looks to land a left hand but Murphy moved out of range nicely. Snake is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Snake fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's going to take a lot out of Jake Snake. Murphy lands with an overhand left. Murphy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Murphy lands a high kick!

Nice body punch from Murphy. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Crunch! Murphy slams his shin into Snake's torso. A looping hook to the body misses from Snake. Murphy does a little dance to reset his feet. Snake takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Snake throwing shots but Murphy is blocking nicely. Snake has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Snake decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. And that's the end of the fight! Jake Snake comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Snake has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
