Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Blatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blatt comes into the arena with you're going down- sick puppies blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Doe's choice of entrance music: whatsername, and does she remember my name?. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeff Blatt! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Doe! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doe gets the takedown into side control. Blatt tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Doe wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Doe is staying tight to Blatt's torso, preventing him from escaping. Doe has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Blatt! Doe controlling the pace for now. Blatt is looking to improve his position but Doe isn't that keen on the idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Blatt is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doe looking to control and managing it successfully. Blatt tries to reverse the position but Doe maintains control. Doe sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Blatt is looking to improve his position but Doe isn't that keen on the idea. Doe takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. I looks like Doe might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blatt is trying desperately to improve position. Doe sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jon Doe just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Doe explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Blatt is trying hard to land a takedown here. Doe sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Doe with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Blatt to score with a decent uppercut. Blatt scores with a hook to the body. Doe takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. No luck for Blatt with that takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blatt throws a series of punches but Doe moves out of range. A bone on bone clash there as Blatt blocks the leg kick.
Doe takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Doe throws a body punch but Blatt moves out of range. Doe throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Crunch! Doe slams his shin into Blatt's torso. Blatt misses with an uppercut. Doe saw that one coming. Doe swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Blatt. Doe showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Blatt.
Doe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Blatt.
Doe looks for the body kick but Blatt saw that one coming. Blatt moves out of range as Doe throws a body kick.
Blatt pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Doe thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Blatt if he has to take too many more of those.
A combination from Blatt does no damage. Doe throws a head kick that misses. Doe shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Blatt as he avoids it easily. Blatt misses with a hook. Blatt tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Doe was well out of range. Poor timing from Blatt. Doe throws a quick inside leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Doe dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Blatt throws a looping overhand right but Doe ducks down to avoid it. Blatt avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Doe tries to land a front kick but Blatt steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Blatt swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Doe throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice body kick there by Doe. Doe throws a half hearted mid kick. Doe showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Blatt.
Doe throws the kick towards the body but Blatt avoids it. Jeff Blatt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Doe looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Blatt is fending him off so far but Doe persists. Nope, Blatt circles away and we're back to standing. Nice defenses there by Doe. Blatt connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Blatt swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Doe. Doe tries to land a front kick but Blatt steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Blatt stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. A telegraphed right hand from Blatt misses the target. Blatt throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Doe throws the kick towards the body but Blatt avoids it. Doe misses with a wild body shot. Doe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blatt moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. A combination from Blatt does no damage. Blatt shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Doe counters with a leg kick. Blatt blocks the body kick.
Blatt scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
A looping hook to the body misses from Doe. Blatt does a little dance to reset his feet. Doe is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Blatt rather than just go for the knockout. Doe is trying hard to land a takedown here. Blatt sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Blatt connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Doe lands a nice hook to Blatt's body. Blatt takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Doe scores a takedown into full mount! Blatt is looking to improve his position but Doe isn't that keen on the idea. Doe controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blatt tries to reverse the position but Doe maintains control. Doe takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Blatt is looking to improve his position but Doe isn't that keen on the idea. That's three minutes gone in the round. Blatt tries to roll over but Doe keeps him under control. Blatt looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Doe takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Blatt is looking to improve his position.
Blatt looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Doe is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Blatt wants to improve his position but Doe is controlling well.

It looks like Jeff Blatt has been cut. Doe pushes Blatt away with a front kick. Doe throws a nice looking combination but Blatt bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Excellent takedown into side control there by Doe. Blatt tries to improve position but can't. Doe is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Blatt's shoulder. That is not cool. Blatt gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Blatt is staying active underneath Doe, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doe is figuring out what he wants to do next. Blatt regains full guard. Nicely done. Blatt trying to control the position.
Blatt escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Doe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Doe looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Blatt is pulling down on Doe's head. It's preventing any offense from Doe, at least for the moment. Blatt isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Doe stacks Blatt on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Doe! Blatt tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Doe wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doe moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. You can see the frustration on Blatt's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Blatt is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Doe controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Blatt tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Doe wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Doe trying to control the action but Blatt is working from the bottom. Doe controls the position. Blatt wants to control but Doe postures up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Doe misses with a wild body shot. Jeff Blatt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Blatt swinging wildly here.
And that's the end of the fight! Jon Doe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Doe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
