And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darin Blood!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Choy slips under a jab from Blood.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Blood lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Choy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Choy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Blood lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Choy circles away quickly and effectively.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Choy shoots for a takedown but Blood saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Blood finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Blood tries to reverse the position but Choy maintains control.

Choy has control of Blood's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Blood regains control of the situation pretty easily.

and Blood counters with a three punch combo that has Choy backing up. Choy nods at Blood to acknowledge the strikes.

Eddie Choy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Blood's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Choy is fighting off a takedown attempt but Blood is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Choy to the mat. Choy regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Blood must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Darin Blood comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Blood has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
