Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Archie Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norman Collings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bell kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eminem - Almost Famous. 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Norman Collings! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell lands an overhand right. Collings has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Collings there as he acknowledges the shot. Bell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Collings uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bell.
Nice takedown defense from Bell. No joy for Collings on that attempt. Bell displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Collings. Collings avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Collings. Archie Bell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Norman Collings. Bell fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Collings uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bell. Bell leaves Collings with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's one minute gone in the round. Bell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Collings moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bell wants it to stay on the feet. Bell stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Collings looks gassed! Bell cracks Collings with a right hand to the side of the head. Bell misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Collings.
Bell connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Collings momentarily.
Bell throws a body punch but Collings moves out of range. Collings is trying desperately to land a takedown but Bell is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Collings. Bell lands with a shot to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Collings avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bell misses with a wild body shot. Bell scores with a shot to the body.

Bell scores with a nice head shot. Bell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Collings moves away. Bell catches Collings with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bell cracks Collings with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bell has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Collings to stand back up!
Collings is rocked! Bell throws a nice looking combination but Collings bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Collings is still on wobbly legs! Can Bell finish him? Bell ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Collings seems to have recovered his senses. Bell swings for the body but Collings moves out of range.
Bell throws a series of punches but Collings avoids them all with ease. Collings uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bell. Collings avoids the body shot from Bell.
Collings needs to keep his hands up - Bell had a free shot at his head there. Collings slips under a jab from Bell. A cross from Bell lands. Bell digs a good hook to Collings's body.
Bell connects with a good right hand that stumbles Collings. Collings circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Bell pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Bell keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Bell lands a beautiful left hook that drops Collings. Collings tries to recover but Bell is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Collings lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
