Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kriss Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Foster Barkley!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barkley feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Turner being controlled here, momentarily.
Turner wants to stand up but Barkley is controlling him.
Barkley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Barkley seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Turner is trying to control the position but Barkley postures up.
Barkley is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Barkley's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Turner keeping full guard, as Barkley tries to pass.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Turner trying to keep a closed guard but Barkley is proving a slippery customer.
Turner wants to stand up but Barkley is controlling him.
Barkley is standing up over Turner. Turner looks to escape but Barkley dives into side control.

Turner wants to control but Barkley postures up.

Turner tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Turner is trying desperately to improve position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Turner wants to hold on but Barkley pushes him away.
Barkley looking to control and managing it successfully.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Turner is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Foster Barkley dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Barkley. Turner shrugs it off though.
Barkley uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Turner has time to react.
Turner throws a series of strikes that have Barkley backpedaling.
Turner checks a leg kick.

Barkley drops Turner with a beautiful combination! Turner stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Barkley is looking for the KO!


Turner is rocked!
Barkley throws a right hand that Turner ducks under and follows up with a left that Turner also avoids with ease.
Oh Turner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barkley throws a hook but Turner blocks it.
Barkley lands a slapping body shot.
Turner seems to have got his legs back now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Turner throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Barkley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Turner napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Turner is looking for a sweep.
Barkley controls the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Barkley thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Barkley slows the pace down.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Turner can't do much from the bottom here.
Barkley slows the pace down.
Turner stuck in half guard on the bottom here.
Turner struggling a bit here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Turner is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Barkley is controlling him well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Turner pushes Barkley away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Barkley gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Turner is looking to get back to his feet here but Barkley is keeping cool and he's managed to take Turner's back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Foster Barkley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!


The fight stays on the outside here - Turner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Barkley misses with a jab, cross combination.
Barkley takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Turner gets caught flat footed, as Barkley shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Barkley decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
A punch combination from Barkley misses.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Turner.

Turner wants to clinch.
Turner takes a kick to the side of the head.
Turner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barkley moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Barkley throws a right hand that Turner ducks under and follows up with a left that Turner also avoids with ease.

and Turner counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Barkley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Barkley is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Turner seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Barkley wants to get back to his feet.
Barkley moves into full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Turner wanted to stand there but Barkley had control of the position.

Turner decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Barkley, up you get!
Barkley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Turner fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Turner darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Barkley slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Foster Barkley is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Barkley scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Barkley looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Turner!
Kriss Turner has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Foster Barkley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Barkley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
