Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith misses the shot to the body.
Powers misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Smith uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
It looks like Max Powers has been cut.
Powers will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Smith throws a push kick but Powers slaps the foot to one side.
Powers misses with a few strikes there.
Powers shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Smith's guard.
Powers is fighting to break Smith's control of his arms but Smith is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Powers postures up and lands a big shot to Smith's brow.
Smith keeping full guard, as Powers tries to pass.
Smith has Powers pulled in close to control his posture.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith wants to sweep but no luck.
Powers wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving.

Smith throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Powers is looking to advance position but Smith has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Powers is in all sorts of trouble here.
Powers is bucking up trying to escape but Smith cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Powers is in a horrible position here. Smith smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Powers tries to reverse the position but Smith maintains control.
Smith unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Powers wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Smith celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
