The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcguirt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Muy Malas but Muy Malas pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mcguirt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Muy Malas sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mcguirt somewhat.
Mcguirt misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Cosas Muy Malas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dirt Mcguirt.
Mcguirt closes the distance and clinches up with Muy Malas, looking for a takedown. Mcguirt pushes Muy Malas against the cage but Muy Malas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
