Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sen Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pain comes to the cage accompanied by Indestructible. Nguyen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. "House of the Rising Sun" by the Animals kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nguyen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pain looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Nguyen wants to control but Pain is keeping him busy.
Pain gets back to half guard.
Pain is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nguyen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nguyen's back!
Nguyen manages to reverse the position and now he's in Pain's guard. Nice work there by Nguyen.
Nguyen's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Pain looking for a guillotine here but Nguyen defends easily.

Pain looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Max Pain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nguyen is looking to clinch.
Pain throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fight stays on the outside here - Nguyen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pain is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nguyen.
Nguyen dodges the punch combination from Pain.
Nguyen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pain circles away.
Nguyen is looking to clinch but Pain is avoiding it.
Pain stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
