Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between karl amoussou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georgie Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, karl amoussou!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Georgie Junior!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
amoussou changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Junior tries to avoid it but amoussou manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Junior to the ground. Junior escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
karl amoussou seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Junior rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but amoussou moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Junior moves into the clinch.
amoussou keeps control of Junior as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Junior pulls guard.
Junior is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. amoussou is aware though and is defending well.
amoussou tries to stand but Junior is controlling from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Junior is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Junior gets control of amoussou's arms and successfully pulls guard. Junior will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

amoussou lands a big head kick that sends Junior tumbling to the mat! amoussou takes a step backwards and waves Junior back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Junior counters with a nice double leg into side control. amoussou won't be happy with that.
amoussou is trying to escape the position but Junior is controlling the position.
Junior's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
I looks like Junior might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
amoussou tries to bench press Junior off him but Junior keeps the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from amoussou.

Junior working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. amoussou doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. amoussou manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

so Junior counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
amoussou is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Junior stands and steps away. amoussou gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Junior has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed amoussou clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Georgie Junior has got the better of the ground game so far.
Junior is working for a rear naked choke. amoussou is not defending it well and Junior has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! amoussou refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of amoussou's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
