Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Artem Graf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jason roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jason roberts has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Graf shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
roberts is trying to maintain the position but Graf is very close to passing his half guard.
roberts is refusing to be controlled, as Graf sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
roberts trying to control here.
Graf not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
roberts avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Graf.
Graf thows a huge punch but roberts dodges it nicely.
roberts trying to control from the bottom.
roberts keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
roberts shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Graf counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in roberts's guard now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Graf stands and throws roberts's legs to the side, diving into side control.
You can see the frustration on roberts's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
roberts might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Graf kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Graf lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Graf is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
