Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hang Time (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samson Prince (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hang Time!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Samson Prince!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Time shoots in but Prince avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Time scores a takedown into full mount!
Prince keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Time swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Prince is now in Time's guard. A big mistake from Time there, giving up the dominant position!
Time is pulling down on Prince's head. It's preventing any offense from Prince, at least for the moment.
Prince sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Prince trying to control the position from guard on top but Time is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Prince gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Prince throws a head kick but Time moves out of range.
Prince looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Prince shoots and misses

so Time counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Time thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Time is breathing heavily.
Time tries to free his leg and advance position but Prince is retaining full guard.
Prince throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Prince manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Time manages to get himself to full guard.
Prince trying to control but Time is working from the bottom.

Time is looking for a triangle but Prince pushes his legs off easily.
Prince trying to control the position from guard on top but Time is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Prince drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Prince jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Time had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Prince defends it easily.
Time wants to sweep but no luck.
Time keeping moving, preventing Prince from controlling successfully.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Prince lands with a nice body kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Prince misses with a few strikes there.
Prince doesn't manage to clinch there - Time circles away.
Prince tries to clinch up.
Prince fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Time avoids it really well and circles away.

Prince moves into range and clinches up with Time.

Prince manages to pull guard.
Time wants to pass the guard but Prince is keeping the position.
Prince lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Time!
Prince wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Time is looking to improve his position but Prince isn't that keen on the idea.
Prince trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Time can't escape the position.
Prince unloading with bombs!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prince landing strikes, looking to finish!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Samson Prince will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Prince fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Prince tries for a takedown but Time circles away easily

and Time counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Prince looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Prince keeping moving, preventing Time from controlling successfully.
Prince wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Time slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Prince doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Time throws a strike but Prince rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Time has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Prince has passed into side control.
Prince wants to control but Time is keeping him busy.

Prince decides to stand back up. Prince steps back and let's Time get back to his feet.

Prince feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Prince won't allow Time to sweep him here.

Time looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Time is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Time has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Prince can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Prince wants to stand but Time has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Prince drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Prince jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Time working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Prince doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Prince manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Prince got a little sloppy there for a moment and Time has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Prince has managed to get both his arms back between Time's legs - danger averted.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Time is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Prince stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Time swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Prince controlling from the top position.
Time can't keep his opponent in guard - Prince advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Time is trying to control but Prince manages to pass to mount!
Time tries to hold on but Prince pushes him away.
Time working to try and regain half guard.
Prince controlling from mount.
Prince lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Time hang on?
Time is squirming around, avoiding Prince's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hang Time will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Prince is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Time's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Hang Time overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Prince moves into full guard.
Time trying to control but Prince is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Prince is trying to keep Time in close.
Time passes Prince's left leg - he's now in half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Prince trying to hold on to Time's head to control him but Time postures up.

Time is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Prince has managed to free his arm - good work.
Time is just content to waste time from the top position. Prince takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Time loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Time trying to control but Prince is working from the bottom.

Time is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Prince has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Time is looking to defend but Prince has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Time! Prince pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Time taps out and this one is all over!
