The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davenport tries to score a power double leg takedown but King sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Davenport somewhat.
King misses with a takedown
and Davenport counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for King!
King tries to lock up and control but Davenport gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Davenport takes King's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, King is in trouble.
King is holding onto Davenport's left hand, preventing any choke attempts.
Davenport is looking to control King but King is wriggling around and keeping busy.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Davenport controlling the positon.
King trying to control the hands but Davenport won't let him.
King is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

King tries to escape but Davenport has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Davenport is working for a rear naked choke. King is not defending it well and Davenport has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! King refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of King's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
