Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Felix Beltran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Slick! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Anthony Taglia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beltran tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Beltran throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Slick has eaten all the pies! Beltran misses with a head kick.

Beltran throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Beltran misses with a head kick.
Felix Beltran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick misses from Beltran. Beltran pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Slick will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Beltran tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Beltran is breathing heavily. Beltran throws a head kick but Slick moves out of range.

Slick pushes Beltran against the cage but Beltran circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Slick is looking to clinch. Slick shoots in and bounces Beltran off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Slick stands up over Beltran, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Beltran is looking to stand up but Slick isn't so interested in that idea. Slick postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slick pushes down on Beltran's leg and manages to get into half guard. Beltran knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slick on the ground. Slick passes the guard and advances to mount! A nice elbow there by Slick. Beltran is trying to stand. Slick misses with a head shot. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Beltran's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Slick has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Slick working the ground and pound effectively.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Slick working the ground and pound effectively.

Beltran is rocked! Slick throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Beltran has his hands clasped together but Slick breaks the hold and Beltran is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Slick!
