Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clyde Morse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jake matcheski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jake matcheski is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Clyde Morse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, jake matcheski! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morse is trying hard to land a takedown here. matcheski sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. matcheski looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Morse thuds his shin into the meat of matcheski's side. matcheski throws a series of punches but Morse avoids them all with ease. Morse drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Morse controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Morse looking to pass the guard. Morse not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Morse advances to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morse takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Morse scoring with strikes to the body and head. Morse is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Ground and pound from Morse.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Morse is controlling the pace.
Morse thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed matcheski's head. Morse lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Still in half guard, Morse seems content to control. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Morse lands a nice short elbow. Morse seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morse drops an elbow to the side of matcheski's head. matcheski tries to kick Morse off but Morse keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Morse throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. matcheski is kicking away at Morse from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Morse grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a hell hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with matcheski trying to push Morse off... matcheski taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
