Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uomo Tigre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Uomo Tigre! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charlie Liddell! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jonathan Paton and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tigre walks into a jab.
It looks like Uomo Tigre has been cut. Tigre tries to clinch but Liddell is having none of it. Tigre misses with a head kick.
Liddell keeps the fight on the outside. Liddell lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Liddell swats away the attempt to clinch by Tigre. Tigre throws a right and a left that Liddell avoids nicely. Liddell throws a series of punches but Tigre avoids them all with ease. Tigre lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tigre.
It looks like Charlie Liddell has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Liddell throws a series of punches but Tigre moves out of range. Liddell fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tigre looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Liddell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

A slapping body kick lands there for Tigre. Liddell drives through and clinches with Tigre against the cage.
Tigre keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Liddell's efforts to push away. Tigre pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tigre lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tigre. Liddell looks gassed! Tigre throws a head kick that misses. Tigre tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Liddell lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Liddell smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Liddell instigates a clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Tigre. Liddell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tigre is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Liddell. Tigre tries to land a front kick but Liddell steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Tigre swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Liddell counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Tigre! Liddell can't control as he wanted to and Tigre manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Liddell not landing any meaningful shots this time. Liddell misses with a head shot. Tigre uses the momentum to regain guard. Liddell throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Liddell prevents Tigre from getting back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Liddell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Liddell throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tigre works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Liddell wants to control from the top but Tigre keeps moving.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Liddell keeps the fight on the outside. Tigre throws a series of strikes that have Liddell backpedaling.

and Liddell counters by clinching up. Liddell is looking to break free of the clinch but Tigre has double underhooks. Liddell can't break the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tigre looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Liddell scores with a takedown into Tigre's guard. Liddell trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Liddell is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Liddell trying to stand up but can't free himself from Tigre's guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tigre keeping full guard, as Liddell tries to pass. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Liddell dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Liddell checks a leg kick. Liddell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Tigre throws a combination that misses and Liddell counters by clinching up. Tigre breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Liddell keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tigre. Tigre goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Liddell displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Tigre tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Tigre throws a nice looking combination but Liddell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Tigre buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tigre throws a right and a left that both miss. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tigre checks the leg kick nicely there.
Liddell goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tigre misses with a body shot.
Liddell misses with a body kick. Liddell closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Nice elbow from Tigre. Liddell's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Liddell shoots in for a takedown but Tigre shows good takedown defense. Liddell takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Tigre tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tigre lands with a slapping head kick. Liddell throws a head kick that misses and Tigre counters with a flying knee. Nice. Liddell scores with a nice right hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tigre is trying to break the clinch but Liddell is controlling him. Liddell wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tigre has him pressed against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Liddell's face as he tries to break the clinch. Tigre wants to get back to striking at distance but Liddell won't allow it.
Tigre has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Liddell is trying to break the clinch but Tigre is controlling him. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Tigre pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tigre misses with a head kick.

Nice takedown defense from Tigre. No joy for Liddell on that attempt. Uomo Tigre is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tigre avoids a punch combination nicely.

Liddell throws a strike but Tigre rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Tigre gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Tigre lands with a kick to the temple. Liddell shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Uomo Tigre is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Uomo Tigre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tigre throws a combination that misses and Liddell counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Liddell passes Tigre's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Liddell wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Tigre uses the opportunity to regain full guard. Liddell decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tigre throws a body kick that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Liddell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Liddell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tigre but Tigre pushes him off and we're back to square one. Liddell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tigre paws at him with a jab and circles away. Liddell looks to land a combination but Tigre avoids it well. Charlie Liddell seems to be getting the better of the standup. Tigre tries to clinch but fails miserably and Liddell counters with a three punch combo that has Tigre backing up. Tigre nods at Liddell to acknowledge the strikes. Tigre tries to clinch and Liddell counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Tigre's guard now. Liddell trying to control the position from guard on top but Tigre is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tigre is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tigre keeping full guard, as Liddell tries to pass. Charlie Liddell has got the better of the ground game so far. Liddell trying to control but Tigre is working from the bottom. Liddell wants to stand but Tigre has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Liddell wants to pass the guard but Tigre is keeping the position. Liddell throws and elbow that misses. Tigre uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Liddell's guard. Nice move by Tigre! Charlie Liddell is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Tigre trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A decent looking body kick lands there for Tigre. Uomo Tigre has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tigre throws a nice looking combination but Liddell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Liddell throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Tigre takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
And that's the end of the fight! Charlie Liddell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Liddell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
