Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Gilmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and el santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wayne Gilmore has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilmore tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but santos swivels and escapes.
A combination from santos does no damage.
santos misses with a head kick.
Gilmore dives in and grabs santos's left leg, looking for a takedown. santos pushes down on Gilmore's head and hops out.
santos is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gilmore's half guard.
Gilmore is refusing to be controlled, as santos sits in half guard.
santos is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gilmore doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time santos.

santos wants to stand but Gilmore has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

santos drives through and clinches with Gilmore against the cage.
santos jumps guard and drags Gilmore to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

santos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gilmore's guard.

santos working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gilmore is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of santos's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take santos's back!

santos wants to control his opponent's hands but Gilmore gets his hands free.
Gilmore is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. santos knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften santos for a finish.
Gilmore doesn't have the hooks in and santos manages to turn into his guard.

Gilmore has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but santos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Gilmore has his foot on santos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. santos works his way back into a safe position though.

santos wants to control from the top but Gilmore keeps moving.
santos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gilmore has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, santos has managed to get both his arms back between Gilmore's legs - danger averted.
