Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Logan Strauss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Petzel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strauss comes to the cage accompanied by Immigrant song-Led Zeppelin. Petzel has chosen FOREVER as his entrance music. Alexander Petzel has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Logan Strauss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexander Petzel! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strauss misses with a few strikes there.
Strauss drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Strauss tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Petzel tries to get back to half guard but can't. Petzel manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Petzel regains full guard. Nicely done. Petzel looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Strauss trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Strauss is pushing down on Petzel's leg trying to pass to half guard. Petzel is fighting to maintain full guard but Strauss has managed to sneak the leg through. Petzel is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Strauss pulls his head out easily. Petzel is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petzel manages to get to full guard.
Strauss wants to control from the top but Petzel keeps moving. Strauss advances position into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Petzel looks to move to half guard but instead Strauss has passed into mount! Damn! Strauss prevents Petzel from getting the reversal.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Strauss fails to move to back control. Strauss landing strikes, looking to finish! Petzel is in all sorts of trouble here.
Petzel is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Strauss with the ground and pound from mount. Petzel is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petzel has given up his back.
Strauss working for the choke. Strauss is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Petzel knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Petzel for a finish. Petzel turns into Strauss and is now in his guard.
Petzel stands and throws Strauss's legs to the side, diving into side control. Strauss prevents Petzel from improving position. Petzel is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Strauss knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Petzel is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Strauss is trying to escape and Petzel transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Strauss is forced to tap! Nice work there by Petzel! Very nice indeed!
