Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jacob Kain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny Munoz!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munoz throws a series of punches but Kain avoids them all with ease.
Munoz slaps away a takedown attempt from Kain, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kain tries to clinch but Munoz is having none of it.
Kain tries to clinch up.
Kain will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Munoz waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kain.
Kain closes this distance looking for a takedown but Munoz circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacob Kain. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kain looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Munoz is fending him off so far but Kain persists. Nope, Munoz circles away and we're back to standing.
Munoz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kain moves away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kain is defended easily by Munoz.
Kain fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Munoz keeps the fight on the outside.

Munoz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kain, pushing him back against the cage.

Munoz manages to break the clinch.
Munoz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kain.
Kain changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Munoz tries to avoid it but Kain manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Munoz to the ground. Munoz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Munoz clinches with his opponent.
Kain tries to pull guard but Munoz holds him up against the cage and eventually Kain drops back down to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Munoz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kain wants to clinch but Munoz slips to the side
and Munoz counters with a straight right hand.


It looks like Jacob Kain has been cut.
Kain is breathing heavily.
Munoz ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nice body punch from Munoz.
No joy there for Munoz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Munoz throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Munoz lands a left and a right that send Kain crashing to the mat, dazed. Munoz thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Kain is rocked!
Munoz fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Kain out cold! Brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Johnny Munoz!
