Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tokahuro Nagabushi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ji Yong!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yong showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nagabushi.
Nagabushi ducks under a wild hook from Yong.
Yong instigates a clinch.
Yong lands a shoulder strike.
Yong looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Nagabushi goes for a takedown attempt but Yong pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nagabushi.
Nagabushi tries a head kick but it misses.
Yong misses the shot to the body.
Yong takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Nagabushi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yong.
Yong looks to land a right hand but Nagabushi moved out of range.
Nagabushi scores with the left hand. Yong knows he should have avoided that one.
Yong lands with a nice combination. Nagabushi backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Tokahuro Nagabushi has been cut.
Some wild striking there from Nagabushi.
Yong throws an overhand right that drops Nagabushi like a sack of potatoes! Yong dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ji Yong!
