Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keith Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keith Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brock Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jones is looking to clinch.
Lesnar wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.
Lesnar takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Lesnar has closed the distance and engaged Jones in a clinch.
Lesnar stalling in the clinch.
A short uppercut from Lesnar.
Jones blocks an uppercut.
Lesnar is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jones pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Lesnar has Jones pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jones manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones lands an uppercut.
Lesnar throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Joness head.
Lesnar drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Keith Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Lesnar.
Lesnar lands a right hand that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
Lesnar on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Lesnar has picked Jones up - he's going for a ride! Lesnar dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lesnar connects with a nice short shot to Jones's temple.

Jones is in trouble now - Lesnar has advanced to mount!
Jones is trying to stand up.

Lesnar stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Lesnar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt - Lesnar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lesnar tries to land a front kick but Jones steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Jones tries to keep at a distance but Lesnar has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jones drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lesnar gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Lesnar will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jones up against the cage.

Lesnar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lesnar misses with a two punch combination.
Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lesnar manages to avoid it.
Jones has a takedown stuffed.
Jones misses with a low kick.

Lesnar moves into range and clinches up with Jones.

Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Brock Lesnar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lesnar swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones.
Lesnar stuffs the takedown.
Jones shoots in but no luck this time.
Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lesnar is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Lesnar circles away and we're back to standing.
Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Lesnar tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lesnar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Jones.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jones staying calm.

Jones wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lesnar, who protects the arm well.
Jones connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lesnar some visible discomfort.
Jones controlling the position from side mount.
Jones lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Lesnar is looking for a sweep.
Jones trying to control the position but Lesnar is working away.

Jones decides to stand back up.
Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lesnar circles away.
Lesnar fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Jones gets the takedown into side control.
Lesnar tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jones tries to advance to mount but can't.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brock Lesnar dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Jones moves into the clinch successfully.
Lesnar wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Jones blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Lesnar looking for a takedown.
Jones tries to score a body lock takedown but Lesnar shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Jones fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Lesnar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lesnar closes the distance and clinches.
A short right from Lesnar.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Lesnar is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Lesnar is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Jones has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lesnar is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keith Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones has Lesnar pushed against the cage.
Lesnar looking to stall.

Lesnar has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jones is trying to keep an underhook but Lesnar manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Jones regains full guard. Nicely done.
Lesnar stops Jones from standing up.
Lesnar postures up.

Jones tries to strike from the bottom.

Jones is working an open guard so Lesnar takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Lesnar is breathing heavily.
Lesnar fails in his attempt to clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones.
Jones shoots in for a double leg but Lesnar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Jones moves out of range of the body kick.
Danga de danga de dang - Lesnar scores with a four punch combination!
Lesnar looks to clinch

and Jones counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jones.
Jones pushes down on Lesnar's leg and manages to get into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Jones takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Keith Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Jones keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Lesnar manages to escape and get back to his feet!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lesnar tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lesnar to the ground. Lesnar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jones changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lesnar looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Jones is working to tighten is grip on Lesnar's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Lesnar has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Jones is really squeezing tight and eventually Lesnar passes out! Jones breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Keith Jones!
