Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cody Crossman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Holk Hugan! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hugan fails with the takedown. Crossman forces Hugan back against the cage and clinches. Hugan takes an elbow to the forehead. Hugan tries to pull guard but Crossman won't allow it.
Crossman crunches a lovely knee into Hugan's ribcage. Crossman lands an uppercut. Nice elbow from Crossman. A left hand lands to the body for Crossman.

Despite being in the dominant position, Holk Hugan just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Crossman thuds his shin into the meat of Hugan's side. The fight stays on the outside here - Crossman looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Crossman is looking to clinch but Hugan is avoiding it.
