Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Kidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott McIntyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kidd kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Out of touch. The crowd seem to be enjoying McIntyre's choice of entrance music: The Chosen One. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Scott McIntyre! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McIntyre takes the fight into the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Kidd's face as he tries to break the clinch. McIntyre pulls guard successfully.
McIntyre utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kidd postures up in McIntyre's guard and throws a big left but McIntyre blocks it. McIntyre avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. McIntyre is adopting a defensive guard. McIntyre looking to sweep here. No luck so far. McIntyre is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kidd is aware though and is defending well. McIntyre looking to control.
Kidd works over McIntyre with some ground and pound from guard. Kidd with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kidd is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. McIntyre passes Kidd's right leg, so he's now in half guard. McIntyre missing with the ground and pound from half guard. McIntyre decides to stand up. Kidd tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McIntyre swivels and escapes. McIntyre shoots in but Kidd avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kidd shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and McIntyre counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kidd looking to control.

Scott McIntyre dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
McIntyre tries for a takedown but Kidd circles away easily and Kidd counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McIntyre! McIntyre wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kidd can't keep his opponent in guard - McIntyre advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Tyson Kidd overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

McIntyre is stalling here. Kidd is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! McIntyre seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kidd has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. McIntyre takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kidd working the head and body with strikes. You can see the frustration on McIntyre's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kidd cracks McIntyre with a big elbow. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Kidd here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. McIntyre wants to get up but he can't break Kidd's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. McIntyre wants to control from the top but Kidd keeps moving. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kidd tries to clinch but McIntyre moves away and McIntyre counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Kidd wants to control but McIntyre is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kidd is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because McIntyre is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Kidd won't allow McIntyre to pass to mount.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. McIntyre gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. McIntyre avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kidd throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as McIntyre works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kidd content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Kidd scoring with some ground and pound. Kidd got a little sloppy there for a moment and McIntyre has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kidd has managed to get both his arms back between McIntyre's legs - danger averted. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kidd drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but McIntyre manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kidd has McIntyre in his guard. Kidd is trying to keep McIntyre in close.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Scott McIntyre. I think McIntyre has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
