Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eli Barden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Askren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eli Barden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ben Askren! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Steve Montenegro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barden lands a nice shot that snaps Askren's head back.
Barden is looking to score with low kicks. Barden connects with a jab. Barden scores with a jab. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Askren is defended easily by Barden. Barden connects with a nice looking jab.
Askren looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Barden drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Barden is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Barden trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Askren wants to stand and escape but Barden is having none of it. Askren pulls Barden in close to prevent any damage. Barden will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barden wants to control from the top but Askren keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barden got a little sloppy there for a moment and Askren has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barden has managed to get both his arms back between Askren's legs - danger averted. Askren will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Barden has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Askren is proving hard to escape from.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Barden changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Askren looks gassed! Barden throws a series of strikes that have Askren backpedaling.
Barden lands a brutal head kick. Askren looks out on his feet and Barden throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Eli Barden!
