Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Hushing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DANNY IMES (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hushing kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is PAUL VAN DYK "For An Angel" . DANNY IMES is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hushing shoots in and bounces IMES off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
IMES keeping full guard, as Hushing tries to pass.
Hushing trying to control the position from guard on top but IMES is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
IMES wants to sweep here but Hushing controlling him for the moment.

IMES working for a triangle but Hushing defends it easily.
Hushing trying to control but IMES is working from the bottom.
Hushing sitting in guard here, content to control.
Hushing stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. IMES swivels though and keeps the full guard.

IMES has his foot on Hushing's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hushing works his way back into a safe position though.
Hushing wants to control from the top but IMES keeps moving.
IMES wants to sweep here but Hushing controlling him for the moment.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

IMES is looking for a triangle but Hushing pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hushing sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed IMES's guard.
Hushing passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for IMES!
IMES has given up his back.
Hushing avoiding IMES 's attempts to control his hands.
Hushing wants to control but IMES is keeping busy.

Hushing is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. IMES has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Hushing has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! IMES taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Hushing doesn't care though - he's delighted!
