Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jean Montillo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dean Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Montillo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Anderson somewhat.
Anderson has a takedown stuffed.
Anderson throws a looping overhand right but Montillo ducks down to avoid it.
Anderson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Montillo circles away from the clinch attempt.

Anderson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Montillo's guard.

Anderson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Anderson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Anderson scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Montillo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anderson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anderson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Montillo is looking for a triangle but Anderson pushes his legs off easily.
Anderson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Anderson lands a couple of elbows.
Anderson works over Montillo with some ground and pound from guard.
Anderson scoring with some ground and pound.

Anderson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Montillo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Anderson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Montillo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Montillo tries to get out of the position.

Montillo working for a triangle but Anderson defends it easily.
Montillo is breathing heavily.
Anderson distracts Montillo with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Anderson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Montillo's head.
Anderson works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Anderson works his foot free and advances to mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Anderson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!


It looks like Jean Montillo has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Montillo is wriggling around trying to escape.
Anderson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!


Jean Montillo's cut is getting worse.
Anderson softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Montillo is out cold! Anderson jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dean Anderson!
